Do you have a hybrid work force? A 3CX VoIP phone system allows your team to stay connected wherever you are.
It is apparent that now more than ever, workforces are altering the way in which their teams work. That may be everyone working in the office, some working from home or even the best of both, therefore business phone systems need to be fully flexible. That’s were a 3CX phone system implemented by us here at DNS can help!
What is VOIP?
VOIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol, meaning that you can make phone calls via a computer, smart phone or other mobile device by using an internet connection as opposed to a regular landline or mobile network – you may also hear it being referred to as IP Telephony (IPT).
How does VOIP compare to my standard phone lines?
The main difference between a VOIP telephone system is how the call travels to its destination. Rather than the usual underground copper cables, the call travels via the internet.
Flexibility & Productivity with 3cx:
Don’t let a phone system hinder your working flexibility, 3CX allows you to take your extension wherever you are meaning that you can work from whatever location you desire.
There are also a variety of features to help you to communicate via 3CX, including live chat, Facebook integration, business text messages and video conferencing meaning you can continuously keep in contact with colleagues or customers through many different channels. You can even take calls from your browser!
As well as this, 3CX also allows you to whisper in and listen in to calls, which is perfect for employee training and assisting new employees on the phone as well as being great for ensuring high levels of customer service are being met. Calls are also recorded and can be used to refer to if needed – always handy.
Scalability with 3cx:
With a 3CX phone system you can easily add and retract licenses with a few clicks of a button (as well as this there is no additional hardware costs!)
With 3CX there is no per extension licensing meaning that you can have unlimited extensions within one general business license. Therefore, if new people join the business there isn’t an added cost to get them up and running with a new phone. With 3CX there is also no requirement for a desk phone – another bonus. However, we know some people may be lost without a physical phone on their desk so there is also the option to add a handset if need be.
There is also no need to purchase any add ons for web conferencing, apps, live chat or even business text messaging and fakebook integration – everything is included in the annual cost.
3CX itself implements the latest technologies to ensure that your communications are secure and safeguarded from vulnerabilities. We can work with or as your IT provider to ensure that you have all the foundations to securely take phone calls without the fear of sensitive data being leaked
Phones as we know them are retiring - get ahead!
Adding to this, like with everything, technology advances and phone systems are no different! Many people may be aware of the analogue line switch off however if you are not, from 2025 traditional analogue lines will be decommissioned which means that everyone will be saying goodbye to them and hello to a digital service. Therefore, we are encouraging businesses to get ahead of the change and examine their options now? After all there is nothing worse than leaving something as important as this to the last minute! (Also, the as demand increases, the likelihood is that so will cost. So, you could end up paying more if you leave it a few years.)
