Meet Georgia!
I’m the Finance Assistant at DNS, supporting all aspects of the accounts function, including purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations and reporting. I enjoy getting stuck into a challenge, especially when the numbers don’t quite balance. There’s nothing more satisfying than finding the issue and getting everything reconciled correctly.
Finance is a career I somewhat fell into, but it quickly became something I genuinely enjoy. I like the balance of routine and variety, with no two days ever being quite the same, and I enjoy playing my part in helping keep the business running smoothly.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Something Scientific would be cool, maybe to do with Space! It’s so vast and interesting.
What’s your go-to drinks order?
Raspberry gin and lemonade every time!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps and be a hairdresser. I then did a week’s work experience there when I was at school which changed my mind!
