Focus
Trent Bridge’s story stretches back over a century as one of the world’s most iconic cricket grounds. Nestled in Nottingham, it is home to Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, The Blaze in women’s cricket, Trent Rockets in The Hundred and the England men’s and women’s teams, hosting prestigious international fixtures including Ashes Tests.
Beyond cricket, Trent Bridge has become a versatile venue for events of all kinds, from fireworks displays and drone shows to conferences, charity balls and celebrations. With state-of-the-art facilities and a commitment to an exceptional visitor experience, every corner of the ground supports diverse needs, whether that’s matchday hospitality, corporate events or community engagement initiatives.
However, behind the scenes, Trent Bridge faced challenges with its print infrastructure. Prior to working with DNS, there were over 25 unmanaged printers across the ground, no centralised control and high costs from individual printing and toner management. Team members were spending significant time tracking, re-ordering, and managing toners and printer parts; tasks which distracted them from more strategic work. With the new system in place, all of that time-consuming effort has been eliminated.
“Switching to DNS has delivered significant improvements to the printing process at Trent Bridge, with their managed services bringing about tangible benefits in terms of printing, sustainability and security.”

DNS conducted a full review of Trent Bridge’s print environment and implemented a managed solution that consolidated printers, connected all devices to a secure server and introduced secure print functionality. Now, staff can print from anywhere in the ground, including the printing of scorecards and confidential documents, in a GDPR-compliant and cost-controlled manner. Printers are set to black-and-white default for cost efficiency, while all waste cartridges are recycled through Eco Box, supporting the venue’s sustainability goals.
With ongoing account management and support, Trent Bridge has seen tangible benefits. Automated toner deliveries simplify operations, and detailed insights into usage and costs ensure continued savings. The seamless changeover and proactive service have transformed how Trent Bridge manages its print, letting staff focus on running world-class sporting events and hospitality experiences.
“DNS is a company that you can trust. Everything that Martin said DNS would do, they have delivered on. Their ongoing support and aftersales service has been invaluable.”
