Xerox has been announced as Services Quality Supplier of the Year by FCA US based on the success of the automaker’s global managed print services (MPS) program.
FCA US is part of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles group of companies and operates a prestigious award programme that annually recognises suppliers who deliver operational excellence and demonstrate commitment in key areas such as quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
“We honored those companies that were dedicated to helping us achieve success through teamwork, innovation and an intense focus on quality,”
– Scott Thiele, Global Purchasing Officer, FCA NV.
FCA selected Xerox based on the company’s long-term commitment to reducing costs, having implemented a global managed print service (MPS) solution for over than 3,000 printers across 53 of the company’s office and manufacturing facilities within the last year.
“Xerox’s service delivery, which is focused on better document security, productivity and sustainability, has consistently been a competitive differentiator. We tailored solutions to help FCA US better manage printing and automate manual processes to ultimately reduce costs.”
– Mike Feldman, president, Large Enterprise Operations, Xerox.
Responsible for installing new print equipment, mapping its facilities, printer maintenance, consumable supplies and toner replenishment, Xerox leveraged the FCA US print volume to drive quality, increase efficiency and reduce print costs by 7.4 percent annually.
